Join us for the Sonoma Valley Fire District Open House on Sunday, October 18th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Station 31, 630 2nd Street West in Sonoma. This free, family-friendly event is a chance to meet the firefighters who serve our community and see what we do up close. Catch live firefighting demonstrations at 11:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 12:30 PM, and in between, kids can take on the obstacle course and enjoy jump houses, face painting, and coloring. Everyone can tour the Fire Museum and say hello to Koda, SVFD's therapy dog. Interactive booths will offer Hands-Only CPR/AED, PASS fire extinguisher training, and REDCOM Dispatch, along with visits from Freddie the Fire Truck, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office, CHP, CA State Parks, and many more community partners. Antique fire engine rides ($2), food from El Roy's and the Churro truck, and SVFD merchandise will be available for purchase, and donations to Local 3593's Fill the Boot are always appreciated. Bring the whole family and come celebrate the community we're proud to protect. Our Home. Our Community.
