Sonoma Valley Community Advisory Commission – Emergency Evacuation & Alert and Warning Presentation (September 24, 2025)

This presentation provided an overview of Sonoma Valley’s current emergency evacuation planning and the systems used to alert and warn the public during disasters. County and local agency representatives discussed how evacuation zones are established, how information is communicated to residents, and the importance of coordinated response between fire, law enforcement, and emergency management partners. The goal of the presentation was to help the community better understand evacuation processes, available alerting tools, and ongoing efforts to improve preparedness and public safety in the Sonoma Valley.
